Founded in 1972 as an outgrowth of the Canton, Ohio Police Boys Club, the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle corps engergize audiences with its trademark blend of Big Band Jazz.

The corps rocketed to national prominence in the late 1980's, the Bluecoats consistently place in the DCI elite Top-12.

Always a crowd favorite, drum corps fans routinely "Bloooooo" the corps after every performance.

CORPS MISSION STATEMENT
The Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps provides a program for youth in music and performance training. Leadership, personal, character and social development skills are emphasized through the challenge, excitement, and self-discipline presented by the corps through travel, competition, and pursuit of excellence.
